DKS 1510 Minilab from KIS Photo-Me Group Wins DIMA Shoot-Out
Perennial Winner for Image Quality Reflects Industry Leadership, Highest Standards

ORLANDO, Fla., 26 February 2006 – A jury of photographic imaging experts has determined that output from the DKS 1510 Digital Minilab manufactured by KIS Photo-Me Group is superior to any of its competitors, and has awarded the company first prize in this year’s DIMA Shoot-Out image quality competition, it was announced today at the Photo Marketing Association Convention and Trade Show here.
The DKS 1510 was selected for best image quality in the 8-inch-wide category. This award marks the fourth year in a row that DKS digital minilabs from KIS Photo-Me Group have received the top award in the DIMA Shoot-Out, the professional photo industry’s most recognized head-to-head contest for image quality. The DKS 1510 also won last year’s 8-inch-wide image category.

The DIMA Digital Printer Shoot-Out uses a “target file” created by some of the best color experts in the industry. This file is sent out to digital printer, media, ink and RIP manufacturers to output according to the specifications of the event. Prints were created in a short turnaround time, sent back to DIMA, and displayed on the PMA 2004 trade show floor for judging by an independent panel of imaging experts.
